The FOXTEL Lap - Australia's largest treadmill challenge - is over for 2009. This years event saw thousands of competitors from Corporate Australia pull on their running shoes in support of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
More than 2,550 people participated across five states, running over 147,000 laps to generate donations for research into conditions such as diabetes, allergies, asthma, premature birth and mental health problems, which are increasingly affecting Australian children. And this year thanks to your help we are well on our way to raising our goal of $800,000.
Don't forget that the final date for donations are due by December 4, 2009 and every individual who raises $500 or more goes into the draw to win one of two great travel (return trip for 2 to LA and a return trip for 4 to Fiji) prizes from Virgin Blue.
