The FOXTEL Lap is held in support of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Australia's largest and most prestigious child health research organisation.

Proceeds from the event support research into  priority areas such as diabetes, cancer, asthma, premature birth, genetic conditions, obesity and mental health problems to help children lead happier, healthier lives.
